Annoyed

Well, that's just annoying. I spent ages the other day writing about my holiday, then I saved it as a draft to finish later..... and it's gone. And now I am so post holiday that I don't feel like writing about it.

I had gone into some detail about the dysfunctional relationship between me and my husband so it's probably best unpublished ;) All I will say on the matter for now is that things are better than they were on holiday.

Welcome

I am quite worried that someone I know will find my blog, especially as I have been telling people I've started one. I have taken some small steps to covering my tracks, especially at work, deleting internet history and stuff. My husband is not sufficiently curious to go looking. I tried a google search for my blog name and there was a link to a diary type website where a lady was charting her fight with cancer. She said she also had a blog but then gave a link to MY blog. So I apologise to anyone expecting to read a blog about how someone is dealing with the day-to-day struggles of living with cancer and instead is reading about how good or bad my new sex toy is.

On that subject, tried it again this morning, about 2 seconds, but very nice :)

I applied for 3 jobs 2-3 weeks ago, not because I am desparate to leave but because I'm desparate to not be out of work if the unthinkable happens. I had a letter from one of the companies yesterday, 3 weeks after the closing date, so as I was opening it I was saying to hubby "oh this will be a no thank you letter". Imagine my surprise when I re-read it properly to find they've offered me an interview. You tend to lose hope 3 weeks after the closing date so I'm gobsmacked. I now have a couple of weeks to prepare myself, find something to wear and find out about the job. Out of the 3 jobs I applied for this was the least likely one I'd get. I'm not going to say too much about the job (mainly because I don't know yet ;))

Have batteries will use them :)

Ok, back to my previous post regarding my new toy. I have batteries, had to tell husband I needed them for the clock, well, one of them was but the other three were for my rabbit. I couldn't wait any longer for him to take the initiative and away I went on my own. I have to say I was a little disappointed: it was all over so quick :) I don't if it was the anticipation or what but no sooner did I turn the thing on and feel its ears on my bits and that was it. I left it for a while before I tried it again because I wanted to enjoy the experience and revel in the whole big build up to my orgasm. Sure enough the second go was a much more satisfactory affair. All I have to do now is introduce it to my husband.

The Famous/infamous Rabbit

A few weeks ago, at the suggestion of a colleague, I subscribed to Scarlet magazine. There were two options a low price for 12 issues, or pay slightly more but get a "free" gift. Said free gift was a rabbit. If you don't know what a rabbit is please consult an Ann Summers website/shop/catalogue!
Now I should explain that I have possibly the shyest husband in the world, not sure how we ended up together but that's a whole other blog ;) He is very disapproving of 'toys' and thinks that only dirty women use them, so I failed to tell him about the option that didn't include the free gift.
Well, it arrived today. I was quite nervous about opening the brown packaging. I had never seen a rabbit in the flesh, so to speak, only heard tales of their greatness. I have to say, it looks good. Bright pink and bendy but good :) Gutted it didn't come with batteries. Who wants to wait to try out new toys?? So gently had to introduce hubby to the whole new idea of toys in a close loving relationship. They're just a bit of FUN, right. Anyway, will get batteries tomorrow and hopefully report back ;)

Food or sex

I've just read an interesting statistic.... some survey has found that 31% of women would rather eat than have sex. Naturally this got me thinking. What foods would I definitely choose over sex, what foods would be a maybe, and which would be a definite no. And then of course, are we talking about that great mind-blowing sex, or the more usual ten minute, last thing at night, can't really bothered to try hard, sort of sex, because obviously this will alter things.
So, if we're talking about the latter there's not really much competition.... Food wins.
But it would have to be something great to compete with the former. Sex or cream slice: cream slice. Sex or peanuts: peanuts. Sex or roast chicken: roast chicken. Actually I'm struggling to think of anything.
